"I Tried The Top 4 Mushroom Coffees. Here's What Actually Worked."
I've been drinking mushroom coffee for years.
I started with Ryze, then tried Mud/Wtr and Everyday Dose. I liked them all for different reasons, but none of them really stood out.
Sometimes I'd feel calm, but also unmotivated.
Other times, I got the energy but still couldn't focus.
And a few blends tasted... off.
So I decided to test four of the most popular brands side-by-side. I gave each one a full week. Here's what surprised me, and why I now only keep one in my routine.
I just wanted something that would actually help me focus.
Most mushroom coffees taste decent and feel health, but they didn't deliver the kind of clarity I needed for work, parenting, or the gym.
Ryze made me feel relaxed, but too mellow and I didn't like the flavor.
Mud/Wtr was flavorful, but didn't give me much drive.
Everyday Dose gave me a little lift, but it faded fast.
I wanted something smoother than coffee, without the jitters, and added brain benefits.
Then I tried Neubrain.
And everything changed.
How Neubrain Stacks Up Against Others
Once I saw the ingredient list and felt the effects, it made sense. Neubrain isn't a classic 'mushroom coffee' - it's a complete cognitive formula.
Other brands are okay, but they're limited.
Some lean too hard on mushrooms and forget about real energy.
Others include adaptogens but skip ingredients that help with absorption or performance.
Neubrain combines what actually matters:
✅ 100% Fruiting Body Mushrooms (no mycelium)
✅ Patented ingredients for real results
✅ Jitter-free caffeine that won't spike cortisol
✅ Delicious flavor of real coffee
Real-Life Results (That Lasted)
What really sold me was how consistent Neubrain felt.
I didn't get a random crash mid-day.
I didn't feel like I needed a second cup. I was still sharp in my 4pm meetings.
I even recommended it to a few friends - one's a full-time mom juggling kids and side projects.
She texted me:
"Okay this Neubrain stuff is unreal. I actually remembered everything I needed to do and did it!!"
Bonus? It also tastes amazing.
It's rich and creamy, like my favorite coffee - no bitterness, no weird mushroom funk.
I usually mix it with oat milk and cinnamon. Sometimes I add it to my smoothie for an extra boost.
My mornings are smoother. My focus lasts longer.
And I don't spend the rest of the day chasing the energy I already burned through.
Honest Thoughts On Other Brands
The other brands are good, but for me, they just didn't do what I wanted.
Neubrain was the only one that gave me calm focus and real productivity.
It's like everything I was trying to get from the other brands, in one scoop.
And I’m not alone.
"SOOO GOOD! I literally felt the difference in one day. WAY BETTER mental energy with this stuff. I'll be buying more soon."
- Jasmine T.
"I've tried Ryze, Everyday Dose, and Mud/Wtr. Neubrain is the only one I keep coming back to."
- Tucker G.
Why It Works (When Others Don't)
Neubrain doesn't just throw mushrooms together and hope for the best.
It's built with clinically backed ingredients that work together - not just alongside each other.
Lions mane mushroom
Supports memory, learning, and long-term brain health.
L-Theanine
Promotes calm, alert focus by smoothing out the caffeine.
CognatiQ® (NeuroFactor)
A patented coffee fruit extract shown to boost BDNF (a key brain growth protein).
BioPerine®
Helps your body absorb the ingredients so you feel it working.
And yes - it includes caffeine (125mg), but without the crash, jitters, or afternoon slump.
It gives you real fuel, not fake hype.
The result?
✅ You don't just feel good - you actually get more done.
Final Take
If you're already into mushroom coffee, I don't need to sell you on the concept.
But if you've tried the big names and still feel like something's missing, Neubrain is worth trying.
It helped me feel clear without feeling wired.
Energized without anxiety.
Productive without needing a second dose.
Neubrain was made for clarity, to help you feel like yourself... not someone barely keeping up.
It helped me take back control of my energy. It helped me focus without feeling frantic. And I think it might do the same for you.
If you're going to drink mushroom coffee, drink one that actually works.

I'm a bus driver, so my mornings start way before most people's alarms go off. I need to be alert, focused, and steady behind the wheel, with people counting on me to get them where they're going safely. That means I can't afford a big sugar crash halfway through my route. NeuBrain Coffee has become part of my early-morning routine. I get steady energy that carries me through my shift without the spike-and-crash I used to get from sweetened drinks. It has amazing taste, smell, and smoothness. It's the kind of coffee I can drink cold or hot lightly doctored and still enjoy.
Smooth flavor.
There’s a bunch of mushroom coffees out there with Neubrain. I feel the change cognitively. If I don’t have my Neubrain coffee I definitely can tell if I don’t drink it.
I have been using this product for several months. I performed a lot of research on various mushroom coffee products before purchasing. I have not been disappointed. I take my coffee black with no additives and this product tastes like coffee. I start every morning with Neubrain. As I like coffee flavored coffee, this fits the bill. Nutritional and functional benefits are difficult to express, but I have noticed a shift towards less fatigue and less joint pain. I will continue using Neubrain.
This is the third mushroom coffee I've tried! It's totally delicious! It's really good for you! And it's not gritty like the rest of the coffee's I tried. Really satisfied with my purchase 😊
Neubrain is fantastic and tastes like coffee without the jitters. Would highly recommend
It is my morning get up drink routine very tasty and in the afternoon If i need a boost another cup does the trick
the drink has replaced my habit of drinking coffee in the morning. One cup with a teaspoon of honey and I'm set for the day. I've lost my coffee habit!
Neubrain is my everyday starter drink. Smooth, tasty and kick starts my cognitive day!
1st day and totally noticed a difference in my awareness!! Five stars! Tastes great!! No muddy mess at the end of my cup!
I have yet to get completely away from regular coffee, but ive mixed in other mushroom coffee brands with my regular morning mug and they didn't seem to produce the desired result. Neubrain however has me hooked. I get the immediate energy boost from my regular coffee and mixing Neubrain into it provides me with energy and calm throughout the rest of the day! I suffered 2 gunshots wounds to the head in April of 2020 and its difficult for my brain to get functioning right but Neubrain does the trick much better than the other brands of nootropic coffee. Love that they add L-theanine into it for a calmer experience!
Love it.
This is the best mushroom coffee I have tried, I would definitely recommend it to anyone
Tried other brands…Ryze, Cuppa, HabitOne and a few others and can confidently say that Neubrain is the best overall! I enjoy the taste, with just one cup a day, my energy levels are sustained throughout the day without spikes or crashes that were normal with my previous 3-4 cup a day regular coffee habit. Good to be back w/ Neubrain!!
Tastes great! My mental clarity is night & day different. I won't miss a single day, it keeps me so focused & I feel like I can conquer the world!
I look forward to drinking my Neubrain coffee every morning! It's an essential part of my morning routine! While can’t prove scientifically/empirically that it does everything claimed, I know that I feel better and that my day/morning seems to go well because I've had my cup of frothy goodness! Thanks, Trevor and your Neubrain team!
I have gone from trying different mushroom coffees to making Neubrain my go-to morning drink. I keep a bag at work and one at home for the weekends and it always goes with me when I travel. I am no longer running back to the coffee maker for a third or fourth cup like some mornings before finding this product. Awesome product! Thanks!
Nest instant mushroom coffee on the market I've tried them all Neubrain ships it fast but then you have to wait in usps to get it to you other than that it's perfect I've been using Neubrain for over a year 😉 😀 😄 😊 😜

Awesome from the first cup! I feel more energized, more alert, with no brain fog. It has made a huge difference in how I approach my day. I get more work done and constantly feel totally focused! It definitely is a mental game changer! Well done.
I am willing to try this again
I've tried all the different mushroom coffees and Neubrain is the best tasting by far!!
I’ve tried a lot of coffee substitutes and Neubrain has been my favorite so far. No sediment is a huge plus but the flavor is good and the caffeine hit is very even throughout the day. No jitters and I do feel better after drinking it. I stay focused and on point at work unlike drinking regular coffee.
Love this coffee!!!
I have been using Neubrain for about 5-6 months. I notice it most when I DON’T have it. I feel less energetic and foggy.
I love the taste of this. It's smooth. It reminds me of hot chocolate
I’m enjoying Neubrain. I was worried it might be too much caffeine for me, since I’ve been drinking mushroom coffees for years with much less. That’s not a problem. I like the taste, and the fact that there is no sludge at the bottom of my cup.
Excellent taste, dissolution & benefits. I feel awake, but not jittery. My brain is focusing & on task. It took a few weeks to notice, just like everything else.
Good flavor, no grit.
Neubrain coffee has been wonderful like I said before it's got a clean taste it's a clean coffee nothing sinks to the bottom like some other coffees I'll have about it dissolves easily there's no bitter taste there's no aftertaste there's no crash time when it wears off it just wears off but it's kind of a all day energy boost I just think it's a wonderful coffee and everybody should try it
Love the product. I live that mushrooms are incorporated with coffee. I'm a long-time coffee drinker and this product fits my needs perfectly because of the combo.
Having tried now 3 different mushroom coffees, Neubrain is my favorite. Superior taste, solubility and desired effectiveness are the reasons. I will continue to choose Neubrain moving forward. Thank you for your exemplary product!
Every morning I add my scope To my morning brew. It keeps me focused all day long. I doubt I could get through my four college classes without being 55 year old, this has been a game changer.
So I was taking Another Mushroom coffee ☕️ 2 months ago. It did nothing for my energy & it tasted bad. Since taking Neubrain ive felt A Huge surge in Energy & Focus. I work in sales so I have to. E sharp& focused throughout my day. Neubrain tasted definitely done that 4 me. Love this coffee. I've already told my friends/ family about it. Thx 😀
I love this coffee! I did not get the gift card though!
Got my mug of Neubrain right here. Can’t start my day without it. Love the edge it gives me.
It puts me in a great mood. Gives me energy to last throughout the day. Absolutely LOVE this coffee!!
I tried Ryze mushroom coffee for 4 months with no noticeable effects and decided to try Neubrain. It is hands down 100% better, after 3 days my digestive system is working like its supposed to after being constipated for almost 8 months. My brain fog is gone, I'm sleeping better and have more energy throughout the day. Oh and the taste is wonderful.
Love the coffee wish it would have came with a frother
Iced, with a dash of cinnamon and I added a splash of milk! I love it all by itself too.
